Big Bang Bloom explores the idea that creation doesn’t always arrive quietly. Sometimes it erupts — sudden, radiant, and unstoppable. In this painting, a single cosmos flower becomes both a botanical subject and a metaphor for the universe itself: a bright, explosive center sending waves of color, light, and life outward into space.
The glowing yellow core of the Cosmos blossom echoes the birth of a star, while the saturated pinks and violets of the petals feel like energy caught in motion. What appears delicate at first glance is actually powerful — a reminder that growth, beauty, and transformation are driven by force, not fragility.

I’m excited to share that Big Bang Bloom has been accepted into Teravarna’s 11th Annual Flower International Juried Art Competition — and it also received an Honorable Mention.
Frame Dimensions: The width (the front of the frame) is 9 to 14 mm wide (0.35" to 0.55"), with thickness varying by region— 42 mm (1.65") in North America and 32 mm (1.26") in Europe. A 12 mm (0.45") gap between the canvas and frame ensures a snug fit.
