Ghostly Chief Boatswains Mate 11oz Ceramic Mug

A white 11oz ceramic mug featuring this piece, started as something deeply personal — a tattoo concept sketch for my significant other, a retired Chief Boatswain’s Mate in the United States Coast Guard. While the design hasn’t made it to skin (yet), it absolutely deserved a life beyond my sketch file.

I created this graphic digitally on my iPad, building bold contrast, strong linework, and a classic maritime edge that feels timeless and a little rebellious all at once. The skull, anchor, and chief-inspired details honor service, grit, saltwater history, and the kind of personality that doesn’t fade when the uniform comes off.
