Ghostly Chief Boatswains Mate Stickers, Indoor\Outdoor

Vinyl stickers of five different sizes featuring this piece, started as something deeply personal — a tattoo concept sketch for my significant other, a retired Chief Boatswain’s Mate in the United States Coast Guard. While the design hasn’t made it to skin (yet), it absolutely deserved a life beyond my sketch file.

I created this graphic digitally on my iPad, building bold contrast, strong linework, and a classic maritime edge that feels timeless and a little rebellious all at once. The skull, anchor, and chief-inspired details honor service, grit, saltwater history, and the kind of personality that doesn’t fade when the uniform comes off.

Because this design was originally meant as tattoo art, is intimate, punchy, and true to its original intent. It wasn’t designed to be oversized wall art. It was designed to be felt.
